Out with a bang...

  out-with-a-bang-evernightpublishing-JayAheer2016-finalimage

What would you do to make all your wildest fantasies come true?

Blurb:

When Laura Harper walked into her interview for Dover and Harding Engineering, she never could have imagined how rewarding it could be to find a place for herself where her organizational skills were relied upon and needed so badly. Sure it didn’t hurt that the two men who had hired her were straight out of her wildest fantasies, but had she let her feelings go too far? Was it just wishful thinking that they might want her in return? Greyson Harding and Barrett Dover knew the moment that Laura walked into their office that they’d finally found the woman they wanted to share their life with. So they began by hiring the sweet, shy woman and had hoped that they could convince her that their interest was more than a passing attraction. But after five years they’ve finally run out of time and if they aren’t careful, they could lose Laura for good.

Adult Excerpt:

Grey loved the way Laura’s eyes dilated even further at his whispered words, and when she licked her lips, he couldn’t resist any longer. He closed the distance between their mouths and kissed her finally. When her lips opened on a gasp, he pushed forward and took her mouth like he’d been imagining for all these years. It was sensual, and deep, filled with all the longing he’d been holding back. She tasted just as good as he knew she would have, like strawberries and the wine she’d had with dinner. He pulled back when Barrett let out a groan, knowing that he had to share the bounty of her soft mouth, and when he did, she moaned and tried to follow his retreat. Grey liked that.

His cock was already hard enough to hurt, and the little noises of surrender coming from those sweet lips of hers made him ache even more to slide inside of her. When Barrett leaned forward and took Laura’s mouth in a desperate kiss, Grey moved his attention to the delectable body that he’d been imagining for what felt like eternity. Laura kept herself covered up, but in those sexy skirts, Grey imagining bending her over on just about every surface in the office. Truth be told, it was significantly cutting into his productivity. He thought about fucking her three quarters of the day, and knew that Barrett did the same. Ironically, without her here to keep things running smoothly, their business would have suffered.

He ran his shaking hands down her sides, his thumbs barely grazing the hard nipples he could see through her dress. The dress he had bought her. He really liked the thought that she was wearing what he had chosen for her. He wondered though, what she’d picked to wear underneath it, and as he found the side zipper and slowly lowered it, his pulse was racing at the thought of all that creamy white skin that was now theirs for the taking. When he reached up and undid the clasp of the halter top around her neck, the dress slowly cascaded down her curvy body, revealing bright, red lace that made both men groan in appreciation.

“You’ve been hiding this sexy body from us for too long, baby,” Barrett said with a growl. “I want to touch it all. Grey, let’s see what’s ours.”

Hump Wednesday Feature! Parker's Profile

Thanks so much for having me on your blog today to talk about Parker’s Profile! I can't wait for everyone to meet Parker and Lane as I’ve become quite fond of them since the day they sprang to life.

The boys first appeared to me last December when a certain viral video was making the rounds. You know the one I’m talking about. The one where the impossibly beautiful Brock O’Hurn teaches the ridiculously adorable Zach Kornfeld how to be sexy? Yep, that video. And because it’s the way my brain works, my first thought was, “oh, what if it were two slightly different men in that situation?” And thus sprang forth my story idea.

And, while I did envision Zach and Brock initially, it didn’t take long before Parker and Lane were two fully-formed characters with their own ideas about how their story needed to be told. So I listened. And I hope you enjoy.

Parker Knowles needs a date. No, really. If he can't find one by Valentine's Day, he's agreed to let his sister fix him up. And quite frankly, he'd rather chew off his own arm than go out with someone of his sister's choosing.

Internet phenom, Lane Steadman, has offered to show Parker the art of the perfect selfie. After all, an outstanding dating profile is useless without a topnotch photo, right?

Can love really be found on the Internet? Or is a real-world connection closer to Parker than he thinks?

EXCERPT:

“What we need to do is get you wet.”

“Pardon?” Parker squawked.

“Yeah. Aside from that video Seth posted, my most popular pics are the ones at the beach or in a pool,” Lane explained.

There’s a shocker, Parker thought.

“I smelled chlorine in the lobby. I’m assuming there’s a pool in your building?” the other man continued.

“Yeah, there is, but…”

“Perfect.” Lane hopped up and slid his phone into his back pocket, giving Parker both the means and opportunity to ogle. And ogle, he did.

Until he realized Lane meant to take pictures of him in a bathing suit, and all ogling ground to a screeching halt. Oh, hell no

“I’m not sure if it’s such a good idea,” was what he actually said.

“What’s not a good idea?” With perfect timing, Seth strolled into the living room and handed them both a beer.

“Me posing in a pool.” Parker searched for a reason that wasn’t I don’t want to pop a boner near Lane that I can’t hide in a bathing suit.

“Maybe being in the pool will relax you,” Lane added. “Because I don’t think the beer is doing the trick.”

Parker knew the gorgeous man was trying to be helpful. Reluctantly, he nodded.

“Fine. Can I grab my trunks first?”

“Unless you’d prefer to be naked.” Lane winked and Parker felt his kneecaps liquefy.

He knew Lane hadn’t intended to come across as flirtatious. Unfortunately, his brain was having a tough time comprehending that. Pull yourself together, you drooling idiot. This guy is doing you a favor. The least you can do is behave like a sane, rational adult.

Too bad his id was projecting horny, teenage boy.

Pushing aside his inappropriate and misplaced lust, Parker headed into his bedroom and quickly changed his clothes, swapping out boxer briefs for swim trunks. He could do this.

As he headed back into the living room, he grabbed the security swipe card off the key rack by the door. “Okay, let’s get it over with.”

Lane and Seth followed behind Parker and kept up a constant chatter as the three of them rode the elevator to the lobby. Parker waved a quick hello to a neighbor as they exited and made their way toward the pool. When he heard voices coming from the direction of their final destination, however, he started to have second (and possibly third and fourth) thoughts.

“There’s people in there.” He faltered outside the glass doors that led to the pool. “Maybe this isn’t such a good—”

“Nope.” Seth grabbed the swipe card from Parker. “You’re not bailing on this.”

“M’not bailing. Just … can we do it when there’s nobody around?” He was prepared to start begging when the two older gentlemen who had been swimming laps, climbed out of the pool and started gathering up their belongings.

Seth had already unlocked the door and was holding it open for Parker and Lane to join him on the deck of the now-empty pool. “C’mon, stud. Let’s take some pictures.”

“Oh God.” Parker cringed at Seth’s choice of words. As they made their way around the perimeter of the pool, he looked to Lane, who had his phone out and looked keen to get started.

“Should I just…”

“Strip, baby.” Lane’s eyes crinkled in mirth as his mouth curved into a wicked grin.

“I hate you both,” Parker muttered as he fumbled with the buttons on his shirt.

Monday's Scintillating Interview with Andi Bremner!

Welcome to Craving Erotic Romance Blogspot.

Today we’re presenting Author: Andi Bremner

1)      Have you always wanted to be an author? Ever since I read The Naughtiest Girl in School by Enid Blyton in grade two.  I couldn’t get enough of Elizabeth’s adventures and started penning my own ‘fan fiction’ if you like way back then.  Life got in the way for a while with career, family, travel but I am so happy that I have found my way back to what I’ve always wanted to do.
2)      What genre(s) do you write?  I write romance first and foremost, always romance.  Beyond that I write contemporary romance, sweet romance and sometimes a little steamy romance.  I also write young adult historical under a different name which would still fall under the romance banner as well.
3)      Have you ever self published?  I recently had my first venture into self-publishing with a short novella as an off shoot from one of my young adult novels.  I wanted to offer readers a free ‘bonus’ story and this was the best way for me to do so and keep control of the story.  I really enjoyed the process and found it surprisingly easy to navigate.
4)      Who or what inspired you to write your first book?  A few years ago I was chatting to a friend and told her I’d always wanted to write a book and she said well, go on then, no time like the present.  So I made it a priority and started writing.
5)      How many hours in a day might you write?  I write in spurts of inspiration so either I write nothing or I write for about five hours and produce anything from 10,000 to 20,000 words in a day.  I generally have a few days in between writing where I don’t even touch the story. I’ve tried being organised and structured but it just doesn’t work for me.
6)      Are you a plotter or a pantster?  Pantster all the way!  I have all the ideas bubbling in my head and always think I know where I am headed only to find that I have veered off in another direction even if there is a plan. I recently started using Scrivener to help with plotting but have still managed to follow the characters lead which invariably changes the story.
7) Do you ever find yourself slipping away and becoming so immersed in your  story it affects how you relate to others?   At the moment I am writing a story set in the late 1800’s England and I have found that I am talking to my kids as if I have just stepped off the set of Downton Abbey.  I’m also correcting them on their manners continually so I would say yes to that question.
8) Are you in any of your books?  Oh my, no way!  I would never do that, nor  would I write anyone I know into any of books.
9) What do your friends and family have to say about you writing?  I asked my children this and my oldest son, who is sixteen, told me he is proud of me.  That made me smile.  I think sometimes my teenage sons can be embarrassed by what their mom writes but for the most part they are proud.  I know my husband is very proud of me.
10) Please share an excerpt from one of your books that totally spoke to you when you put the words down on paper.
From: Trinity

“Hey,” I called, my voice laced with annoyance, “who taught you to drive?”
She snapped her head around and blinked at me. It was clear from the way she looked at me and the way her mouth formed a perfect o that she hadn’t even seen me.
“You drive like a fucking maniac,” I snapped, “You nearly ran me down. You need to watch where you are going!”
Suddenly a light flicked in her eye and she stepped toward me, “You need to watch where you are going. If you look around you will see this is parking lot and you are standing in the middle of the road.”
She leaned forward, resting on the open door of her car and into the street light, her face illuminated. Fuck, were my first thoughts, she’s young for someone with a sarcastic voice like that. And then my next thought… She’s beautiful.
Her face was pale and heart shaped, with a pointed chin. Long lashes framed eyes that were a dark blue color I guessed, although I couldn’t see them clearly in the yellow light of the dimly lit parking lot. A tiny mole sat on her high cheekbones and her lips were drawn in a line, her chin jutted forward with attitude. Her head bobbed a little and I realized she was tapping her foot. For some reason that made me smile.
“You think it’s funny?” she snapped and then ducked her head, reaching into her car for something. I watched her climb across the driver’s seat and search through whatever was piled up on her front seat and then re-emerge. She frowned when she saw me still watching her before she slammed the door and stepped more fully under the street light.
And that’s when I saw it.
A dark, purple bruise wrapped around her left eye. It started on her cheek, which was swollen and then got darker as it reached her eye before disappearing under her bangs.
My smile faded.
Someone had hit her.

11) Which actor/character(s) would play the starring role? Britennelle Fredericks for Trinity, she was who I had in mind the whole time I wrote the story and for Luke I imagine someone like Liam Hemsworth.

The Right Thing ... a re-release by Allyson Young

The Right Thing by Allyson Young

Release date: April 9, 2016

The Right Thing was previously released in March 2013.

Blurb:

Michael found his perfect submissive in McKenzie and has reveled in training her. She is the faultless masochist to his sadist yet Michael refuses to accept he has also fallen in love with her. He is terrified to give her his heart and makes every attempt to drive her away. When Michael threatens a course that will destroy them both, ’Kenzie accepts defeat and leaves, choosing to save him from himself. This time her deep and abiding love dictates she must lead in order to serve. Michael desperately searches for her, knowing she has nowhere to go, no one to turn to—he has come to his senses too late. Fate intervenes and he is granted another chance to proclaim what he now admits: he loves McKenzie more than life itself. All it takes is a promise to restore her trust and Michael does the right thing.

 Excerpt:

He had no memory of crossing the room or of taking his cousin by the shoulders and shaking Jenifer until her up do came down. The impact of the stiletto on his toes brought his attention back in short order.

“Where?” He didn’t recognize his voice. His one word question erupted from somewhere in the middle of his chest or a little lower, and was painfully quiet, if chock full of some kind of emotion he didn’t stop to analyze.

Jenifer actually stepped back a pace and regarded him with what looked a little like consternation. This was clearly a big learning curve for both of them.

“I’ll take you. I have no idea of the address but Gerald will drive us. I slipped out before McKenzie noticed me so she wouldn’t run again.”

He didn’t want to go with Jenifer. He wanted to go by himself and make a careful plan. But maybe this was better. He wouldn’t get too crazy if Jenifer was with him, and McKenzie might feel reassured if she saw his cousin too. He would sweep his woman up in his arms like the Prince did with Cinderella and bring her back home. That was the real royal equation. Jenifer would pat McKenzie’s hand or something and tell her it was for the best.

He was suddenly adrift on hope and, with what he hoped would be to his everlasting credit, his cock took a backseat to his heart. Nodding, he followed his cousin out of the apartment without any regard for his appearance, clambering into the limo. Gerald pulled out into traffic and despite Michael’s raving hurry, got them there in a remarkably short period of time. McKenzie was hiding in plain sight, maybe right from the day he drove her out. His heart pounded so hard he was certain the windows were vibrating in concert with the thumping and it hurt to take in a full breath. His sub was alive and he would go in and find her there and she would run to him and apologize for worrying him and he would take her home and punish her and propose to her and it would all turn out.

He blew through the door with Jenifer hard on his heels and the fantasy went to shit.

He saw her immediately. McKenzie raised her head in response to the weight of his stare, not, he was certain, as a result of the little tinkling bell over the door. He never wanted to see that look again, although knew he’d see it in his sleep for decades to come, a poignant reminder whenever he fucked up.

The blood drained from his woman’s face and even her lips looked colorless. Eyes resembling nothing less than starburst sapphires shone above the dark circles etching the fine skin beneath them, dominating her sweet face. She looked absolutely exhausted, thin, totally beautiful and horrified and his sadist didn’t respond an iota, not even when her expression turned to abject terror. Her small hands came away from the heavy iron she’d been pushing along some fabric to lift in front of her, as if to ward off evil.

Sweet lips parted and even with the cacophony of sounds in the shop he swore he could hear McKenzie suck in a gulp of air with the intensity of being administered last rites. She began to back away, body trembling, even hidden from view as it was beneath some kind of white smock.

A little Chinese woman shrieked something, breaking the spell, diving for the iron beginning to smoke against the material it rested on. The grey, curling vapor added to the bizarre affect and Michael wondered if the sprinkler system would engage and cast a further pall over the whole scenario.

The woman waved her hands frantically and distracted him for a moment. When he looked again at McKenzie she was clutching the circular rack from which all kinds of clothing hung, and he could see her white knuckles even from his position on the other side of the counter.

Pushing through the opening by the cash register, he slowly approached his terrified sub, never breaking eye contact, broken but gentle words falling from his mouth, trying to reassure McKenzie so she wouldn’t run, to ease the look on her face.

A large woman stepped between them, followed by a man a quarter of her size, presumably the other half of the woman now brandishing the iron, and Michael halted. He felt like a predator denied its prey, though a gentle, loving predator.

“McKenzie. Please.” He didn’t think he had ever pleaded with her before but would crawl through broken glass, through fire if need be. “I’d like to talk to you.”

“This the guy who fucked you up, Kenzie?” The female wrestler tossed the question over a broad shoulder in McKenzie’s direction, no doubt wanting to toss him out the door on his ass.

The first in the Elemental series by Rose Wulf!

Hello! Thank you so much for having me today!

I’m super thrilled to share with you my latest release, Wet (Elemental 1)! Wet is the first in a five-book paranormal romance series. My Elemental series is a re-release after some noteworthy revisions and scene additions – so even if you read the previous version of Elemental 1, this one will have some new surprises for you! Without further ado, I present, Wet!

 Blurb:

Blake Hawke, first born of the four Hawke brothers, has the ability to control water.

Keeping the family secret is a big deal. A deal Blake all but throws out the window when he finds Brooke sitting alone on the beach. Before he knows it he’s showing her everything he can do – until he gets the call that his baby sister is trapped between an impossible fire and a cliff.

Brooke has barely come to terms with the fact that she’s got the hots for a real-life Aquaman when news breaks that they have serious enemies. Now she’s got a guy to win, a secret to keep, and weather-controlling enemies to look out for. The last thing she needs is to add some creepy stalker to the list.

Can Blake protect his family and the woman he’s falling in love with from an enemy he never knew he had?

Excerpt:

Tiny balls of hail bounced off the hood of Blake’s car as he swung in behind Brooke’s Civic. He disregarded the quickly dissipating storm as he yanked his keys from the ignition and rushed from his car to her door. All he’d been able to think about on the drive over had been her voice as she’d told him—in broken, disorganized pieces—what had happened. She’d started crying in the middle of her first sentence, but around her tear-soaked voice he could hear the tightness caused by obvious pain.
His concern left no room for the manners his mother tried to teach him, and so he didn’t even pause to tap on the door before he let himself in. But he did pause when his eyes landed on her a moment later.
Brooke was sitting on her counter, beside her sink. She had a kitchen towel wrapped around her left forearm, held in place by her other hand. Her cell phone was plugged into the wall on her other side, in easy reach. And between the phone and herself was a large smear of blood. Several spots of blood dotted the otherwise white kitchen linoleum, leading back to the living-room carpet.
“Brooke.” Blake gathered himself and moved quickly towards her, sparing only a glance at the devastation in her living room.
She lifted her head and blinked her eyes several times before attempting to offer him a smile. “You drove too fast,” she said, her voice devoid of any appropriate scolding tone.
“No, I didn’t,” Blake argued, failing at his attempt at levity as much as she had. He was standing before her in no time, and with his new angle he could easily see a piece of bloody glass lying in the sink beside her. That piece of glass was undoubtedly the reason the towel on her arm was slowly darkening.
Her tone curious and forcibly light, Brooke asked, “Are you sure I shouldn’t have called 911?”
Frowning at her wrapped arm and the fresh droplets of blood on the floor beneath her dangling feet, Blake replied, “Absolutely. You get free medical. I’ll call Logan and have him come over to board up your window and get rid of that branch, okay?”
“You don’t have to do all that,” Brooke said, her right hand tightening over her injured arm. “I have insurance … and my landlord will take care of my window as soon as he gets home.”
Blake lifted his frown to aim it at her properly. “I’m not taking no for an answer this time. Now let’s get you in the car and we can talk on the road.”
Brooke hesitated, her gaze darting toward the ground. “I’d really rather not walk, if it’s all the same to you.”
Blake silently reached out and pulled her phone from the charger before dropping it into his pocket. Then he shifted and reached around her, ignoring her half-hearted protests, and wrapped an arm around her torso. He slipped his other arm carefully beneath her knees and slid her off the counter, against his chest.
“What are you doing?” Brooke asked, a tiny bit of life beginning to return to her voice.
“Keeping you off your feet,” Blake replied easily as he carried her toward the front door. It was shut, indicating that he’d remembered to close it, but he didn’t hesitate. As he walked, his eyes flicked back toward the living room, and the melted hail pulled from the carpet and off the debris. It gathered together and then smoothly slid through the air toward them.
The water expanded as it neared them, and Brooke watched in silence as the water poured into the space between her door and the doorframe. Blake slowed his pace just slightly as the water gathered together and popped the latch. Then it curved, pushing out, and the door slowly swung open.
“That was impressive,” Brooke declared. Life had returned to her voice, but so had the pain.

About Rose:
Rose Wulf is a giant romance fangirl. Hot, protective, sometimes even downright barbaric heroes and spitfire heroines are her favorites. Rose has been writing for as long as she can remember, and over the years she’s only grown fonder of it. The bonds between characters have always captivated her, and as an author those are Rose’s favorite things to play with – not always to the relief of her fictional babies!
Behind the scenes Rose is a quiet personality. She enjoys spending her non-writing time with her four year-old German Shepherd, Shadow, her mom, and her friends. Be it a fun game of Cards Against Humanity or a relaxing movie night, Rose believes everything is better with company. As for her own romance, she’s still searching for her hero (and hoping that, when she does find him, he’ll be willing to cook!).

Perry thought he hit rock bottom when he went from reality TV star to prison inmate. Then the warden gave him a choice—stay in prison or be part of a new rehabilitation program. It was an easy choice, but nothing comes easy, and Perry soon learns the truth.
Instead of enforcing the law, Police Chief Arthur Wright and a group of dirty cops set up a stable of porn stars, and they’re staffing it with talent handpicked from the prison. Perry does what he has to, in order to survive, but when he mouths off to the sadistic cop who’s training him, he discovers there are worse things than making dirty movies.

Meathead put his hand over mine to steady it and gave me a refill. “You’re supposed to sip it.”
“Right.” I took a little sip and narrowed my eyes at him. “I thought you were a health freak.”
He grinned at me. “I’ll cop to the freak part.”
I grinned back. Chalk one up for the cop. He actually made me smile.
“Get in the tub.”
“Yes, master.” Holding my wine carefully, I climbed into the tub and slid under the hot water. I couldn’t remember the last time I had a bath. It felt like the height of luxury. I didn’t know how to deal with it, so I resorted to sarcasm. “If you’re trying to seduce me, you should have lit candles. Maybe some music—”
“Cut out the bullshit.”
“Yes, sir.” I did my little mouth zip pantomime.
Meathead started to take his clothes off.
Hah! Liar, liar, pants on fire. You do want to fuck me.
Suddenly, my nerves kicked in. I had a busy day. What if I couldn’t perform? I was already on Wright’s shit list. I didn’t need another bad report card. My fear lessened as Meathead revealed more of his body. He was incredibly hot. Almost too handsome, he took my breath away. I wanted to lick the sexy smattering of dark hair between his chiseled pecs. When he pulled his boxers down, a fat cut cock sprung out from his neatly trimmed bush. I tried not to stare. He didn’t need the ego trip. Still, nothing beat the sight of a long, stiff cock. Knowing it was hard for me made it even better. He might not respect me but he couldn’t deny he wanted me.
