Oral Sex Workshop (or Victoria, Your Twenty Minutes start NOW) - flash fiction

Each of the ladies in our writers group closed her eyes, opened a magazine, and pointed to her topic. Mine? Oral Sex Lessons! Here it is:

Caitlyn poked out her tongue while she stood in front of the mirror. How far should it stick out?

Glancing back down at the magazine, she quickly skimmed the relevant paragraph. Mmm. It didn't really say.

She squared her shoulders and stared at herself in the mirror. "Caitlyn," she said sternly to the skinny young fair-haired freckled woman, "you are going to do this."

Her reflection seemed to pale.

"Yes, you are," she insisted firmly. "Darling. Naming no names." Caitlyn rolled her eyes as she mimicked the throaty tones of her older sister's best friend, Juliana. Then she ground her teeth together as she and her reflection glowered at each other.

Plopping back down on the bed, she snatched up the magazine, determined to get the hang of this oral sex thing. But the words blurred as she remembered last night.

As she reviewed the flow of the conversation, she stiffened. Thethebitch. Juliana had brought up the topic herself, right at the start of the night. She'd toyed with the strawberry from her champagne, sliding it in and out of her mouth. Caitlyn snorted. Was that supposed to be seductive? It made her sick, all that spit sticking to the strawberry.

Caitlyn's throat tightened, her bottom lip wobbled, and two tears trickled down her face. Hayden had stared, fascinated, at Juliana throughout the long excruciating evening. She'd leaned across the table, baring even more of her huge boobs, and had said with a knowing wink, "Darling, some people, naming no names, are quite talented in that direction."

There was a knock at the door. Damn. Hayden. She'd only got to the tongue loosening exercise.

Quickly wiping her face, she raced to the door, dropping the magazine, still in her hands, onto the dining room table. Hayden stood in the doorway with a bunch of roses, grinning. Before she could say a word, he swept her up in a big bear hug, then carried her inside. "Sweetheart, it's so good to see you." He lowered his curly head far down to hers and kissed her. His trademark, yummy, sigh-worthy, soft, gentle kiss. As he drew away, he laughed, as he always did, at her sigh. "What about that Juliana last night? Dahling," he said, his voice a low, throaty growl, "Some people are quite talented in that direction." His blue eyes twinkled as he chuckled. "God, I laughed all the way home."

"Youyou weren'tuminterested in that wholeumoral sex thing?" Caitlyn said, licking her dry lips.

His eyes fell to the magazine article on the table. Its huge headlines seemed to have transplanted themselves across her heated forehead.

ORAL SEX WORKSHOP BLOW BY BLOW TIPS.

"Baby," he said softly, "we'll get to that one day, but for now, let's go out to dinner. We can take things as slowly as you like."

As he went off in search of a vase, Caitlyn breathed out a whole lungful of air. She picked up the magazine and went to throw it into the rubbish bin.

But a sudden giggle tickled at her throat. The picture of the banana drew her eyes to the article's first key point: How to Get Him To Go Down There More Often.

Maybe she wouldn't throw the magazine away.

Forever reviewed by Night Owl!

After Forever was featured on USA Today (in the company of some other great books), my next thrill was to receive this great review from Night Owl Reviews.

Forever

Eternity, #1

Amy Copeland was raised in the foster care system, the streets and Vegas. Amy has trouble with relationships and always picks the wrong one so she stays away from all relationships now. Amy’s best friend moves around with Amy and is the one person that she can trust.

Dean Chambray is a hot and sexy man whose main business is not always on the up and up. He is basically a crime boss looking to take down another crime boss. Before Amy, women lined up for him and Dean had the pick of them. Dean falls for Amy at first sight.

The chemistry between Dean and Amy is blistering. The sex scenes are hot and spicy. When Dean is faced with an issue with Amy, rather than talk to her he kicks her out. Dean is not the nicest guy and Amy leaves everything behind to protect what Dean has no idea about.

Forever is the first book in the Eternity series by Allyson Young. I found this book well written. The main and secondary characters were interesting and realistic. This book will suck you in and not let you go until the very end. Overall, this was a great story. I can’t wait to read the next book. I hope we get to see these characters again in the future.

Book Blurb for Forever

Dean Chambray is an arrogant, handsome, undercover crime boss, awaiting a certain man he must take down. Women line up for him, but when they put out, he puts them out.
Enter Amy Copeland, product of foster care, the streets and glitter of Vegas. Resolving to change her life, she abstains from relationships.

These damaged souls meet, and beneath the searing lust lies a deeper sense of belonging. Cautiously building a life together, Dean falls back into misogyny. Betrayed, Amy flees.

Recognizing his folly, he struggles to find her, while the pincers tighten around his small organization. Desperate, Dean resorts to kidnapping when she refuses to return.

It takes patience and considerable effort to convince Amy to trust him again, and accept he loves her. Then, caught up in a pre-emptive strike, her life is at risk. Dean must rescue Amy from certain death, making her his own, forever.

Great Review of Heavenly Revenge

Review of Heavenly Revenge

A great review by Lisa Adams of erotic romance, Heavenly Revenge. Lisa also gave a great definition of the difference between erotica and erotic romance.

Here's some of Lisa's review:

The Plot:

And here comes the unusual. Our heroine is dead. Yep, you heard me. And I'm not giving away anything here because you figure that out in the first two pages of the book. But, she wasn't supposed to die yet. Heaven's not ready for her. So, she has two choices. Hang around Earth haunting people, including her cheating-ex, or go live life in an alternate universe and save the world. Um... hello? Bad-ass chick check... SAVE THE WORLD!
The hero? An arrogant king, who is at war with neighbors and believes her to be a spy. Can we say punishment :-)

The Verdict:

I'm really on the fence about this one. The ending was spectacular. An assured happily ever after and what not. But the first meeting of this pair is rather rough and hard to take. The first sexual encounter happens early in the book, but it isn't under the best of terms. There was that moment that I almost put the book down because I thought it was too close to unwanted sex. (I'm so glad I didn't!) In fact the heroine keeps telling him to stop & he keeps persisting until finally she gives in and he has his way with her. Now, she enjoys every bit of it & even urges him to continue. The games continue throughout the rest of the book, and it is an enthralling read, but that first scene was rough. So, I've thought a lot about it and I have to say this is....
It's a "Four Cups of Love" read!

Author Interview with Jenny May

Welcome to Craving Erotic Romance Blogspot.

Today we’re presenting an author who writes under four! pen names. Read on…

1)      Have you always wanted to be an author?
I was a reader before the thought of becoming an author ever teased my mind. Historical romance was my passion, and I was devouring a book a day. It wasn’t until someone finally asked me, why don’t you just write one, that I gave it serious thought. Their question sparked something inside me and the next day I threw myself into my first story. It took me exactly twenty-three days, but late that night, I typed The End, and knew it was the beginning of a whole new chapter in my life. Now I write under four different names. (A lot, I know, lol) Jennifer Salaiz, Jenny May, Alaska Angelini, and Jennifer May for paranormal romance.
2)      What genre(s) do you write?
Mainly erotic romance. Most of them are paranormal. But I also write contemporary erotica, paranormal romance, and right now I’m working on a western historical romance that I’m excited about.
3)      Have you ever self-published?
I have! Two Doms, One Night is the only book I’ve self-published so far. I’m also working on a dark erotic romance that I hope to publish by the fall of 2014.
4)      Who or what inspired you to write your first book?
Passion Projected was inspired by a dream. My ex-husband woke me up in the middle of the night to tell me about how he’d seen someone floating above me while I slept. Although the dream was absolutely ridiculous and weird, the beginning had stuck with me and reminded me about something I’d learned years before. Astral projection, but more importantly…dream lovers. My mind was nonstop thinking about it, and before long the words to Passion Projected were pouring from me. It also goes with my newest series Astral Awakenings under my Jenny May name.
5)      How many hours in a day might you write?
Wow, lol. Most days I’m writing off and on from nine or so in the morning, and I usually don’t stop until around midnight. Sometimes later. But when I’m in a part I can’t break from, it’s non-stop within those time frames. Deadly Desires (The Soul Collector 3) was one of those books. The novel took me eight days to write, revise, edit, and send off. I was taken over, putting in around eighteen hours a day, and loved every minute of it.
6)      Are you a plotter or a pantster?
I’m a little of both, but I’d say I’m definitely more of a pantster. I usually start with the first sentence and let it take off from there. Where it leads me is an exciting journey. I love being just as surprised as the reader.
7)      Do you ever find yourself slipping away and becoming so immersed in your story it affects how you relate to others?
All the time! When I’m writing, having a conversation with me is pretty much pointless. The moment someone starts talking, I find my mind drifting. I don’t know how many times I’ve been faced with a long, awkward stare. Oh, I’m sorry, did you just ask me something? Yeah…that one.
8)      Are you in any of your books?
Me, as a complete person, no. One of my readers, who happens to know me really well, did point out a lot of things about me she finds scattered through my writing. A lot more of me goes into my books than I first thought.
9)      What do your friends and family have to say about you writing?

I’ve been fortunate to have very supportive friends and family. My mother’s opinion matters to me the most, and the fact that she couldn’t be any more proud makes me the happiest person in the world.

10)      Please share an excerpt from one of your books or a WIP that totally spoke to you when you put the words down on paper.
The constant tapping of the pen had Barbara’s heart increasing faster than it already was. For a shrink, Dr. Natrol wasn’t a very good one. At least, not in her opinion. She’d never seen a psychologist before, but she was pretty sure he was supposed to be putting her at ease, not increasing her anxiety even more by drumming the fountain pen against his knee.
For the third time he seemed to catch himself and pause, bringing his hand to rest behind the clipboard he held. “So tell me, Barbara, how many of these dreams did you say you had?”
If he wanted a number, he was asking the wrong person. Although she couldn’t remember exactly when they’d began, they’d continued now for years. “I’m not sure. I think they began when I was about twenty-four.”
“And you’re thirty-three, now.” He hesitated, and then started writing on the paper.
“Yes.”
Sweat was beginning to collect between her breasts, and she shifted in her seat. Why had she even thought to come here? Sure, dreams happened to everyone. And maybe a few even had the same type of ones repeatedly, like her. But it wasn’t the content of what was in Barbara’s mind that had her running to the shrink. It was what had happened at the end that had scared the shit out of her.
“Why don’t you go over these dreams with me again? How do they usually begin?”
Flashes of her nude body sandwiched between two men while they touched and evoked pleasure she didn’t even know was possible had heat enflaming her skin. To think of speaking the words out loud was beyond terrifying. She wanted to stand and rush from the room. But this had gone on long enough. Something was happening inside of her mind, and she needed to know what it was.
“It always begins with darkness. My body feels itself wake up, but I can’t see. Suddenly, it’s as though I open my eyes, but my vision is different for a few seconds.”
He leaned forward. “But you say you’re awake before you can see.”
“Yes, I feel I am. My mind is aware that I’m awake, if that makes sense.”
“Please, go on.” Dr. Natrol’s hand began moving as he continued to write, but Barbara was too focused on the scene that filled her vision. The dreams seemed so real. Like the events had really happened. And while she stared at herself, head back, moaning with desire, it was as though she could reach out and touch her and her men. It might have been somewhat dark where she was, but she could still see the two figures who caressed every inch of her body so lovingly. Their faces. Their eyes. In her mind, she knew them on some other level that was incomprehensible for her to understand. And she wanted to know how.
“Well, I open my eyes, and I can feel myself floating. It’s like, I know I can fly, but I don’t want to. Instinctively, and I’m not sure how, I feel myself pulled to a place I’ve seen hundreds of times. And yet, I’ve never been there at all.”
“You say pulled. How so?”
Barbara blinked hard, breaking her focus from the men. “Like sucked across the span of miles at the speed of light.”
His mouth parted and he quickly closed it. When he lowered his head and began writing again, she swallowed hard. God, would he think she was crazy? Maybe she was being too trusting telling this doctor that she was seeing things. Even if it was in her dreams. Maybe he’d think there was something more wrong and lock her away.
Barbara quickly shook her head, trying more to convince herself. That was ridiculous. He wouldn’t do that. Would he? Surely not.
“Why don’t you describe this place to me? What does it look like? Are you alone?”
Again, the memories took over. She closed her eyes, giving herself to them freely. “The room is dark, but there are candles always lit. I believe the walls are a light color. But I’m not sure what shade it is.” Barbara tried paying attention to what she could remember and not focus on the men as one of them sucked her nipple into his mouth. These were just recollections. Nothing more. Her body sure was responding, though, as if it was still happening.
“There’s a dresser, with a large mirror. And”—she cleared her throat at the wetness that was increasing from her pussy by the second—“There’s a large computer desk, off to the side. I see two doors. One leads to a long hallway. The other goes out to a terrace.”
“So you’re in a bedroom?”
Barbara nodded, not trusting her voice just yet. One of the men kissed their way down her stomach, while the other continued to give her breast attention. Their hands were all over the place. It was hard to stay in this moment, knowing the doctor was waiting for her to continue. She didn’t want to. She wanted to bask in the pleasure all three of them were sharing.
“Have you been onto the terrace, Barbara?”
She forced her eyes open. “No.”
His gaze narrowed at her. “Then how do you know there’s one there?”
How did she? “I’m not sure. I just…do.”
“You said earlier that these dreams are sexual in nature. Are they always with the same person?”
Now this was where it was going to be hard for her to continue. Saying she was with two men was beyond embarrassing for her to admit. Hell, she hadn’t been with one man in the last five years, more less, two. At the same time, no less.
“Yes, the same people are always in my dream. They never change.”
“They. There’s more than one?”
She looked down, mortified. “Yes. There’s two men. Always the same two.”
There wasn’t so much as a pause in his questioning. “You’ve been dreaming of the two same men now for nine years. Have they always looked the same?”
The question threw her off. Barbara brought her eyes up to him and blinked as she recalled when the dreams first began. “No, they were younger, then.” Her hand subconsciously trailed down her face. “One’s a bit…scruffy. His beard is just a little more than a five o’clock shadow. It’s been that way for a few years. It used to be smooth at the beginning. The other one’s face is sometimes like that too, but mainly clean shaven for the most part.”
“How old would you say these men were if you had to guess?”
She shrugged, still studying their faces in her mind. “Mid-thirties. Maybe a little younger, but not by much.”
“Can you describe them to me?”
Barbara didn’t even break her assessment of their appearance. “One has dark hair. The others’ I want to say is lighter. Maybe dirty blond. It’s too dark to see the exact color. Their bodies…” A delicious shiver raced down to her core. “They’re very built. Wide shoulders. Big arms. The blond is a bit leaner, but looks very powerful. Tanned skinned for both of them.” She paused, as she made her way to their faces. “Their eyes glow, but there’s barely an illumination. Yet the colors are unmistakable. The man with the dark hair has the prettiest shade of blue. It’s very bright. And an emerald color for the blond. They almost look different than human eyes.” She stopped herself from going further as she connected stares with one of her men.
The connection she held with the dark haired one was so gripping it nearly took her breath away. She couldn’t get over the fact that it felt like he was looking right at her. In this very moment.
“Excellent. Now that we both know what your dream men look like, why don’t you try walking me through one of the dreams. You’re in the room you always go to. And you’re there with them. What happens, then?”

11)      Which actor/character(s) would play the starring role?

I’m not sure about actual actors, but if I had to pick someone to appear as my characters, I’d have to say, Traven, my alpha, would look like David Gandy. My other hero, Jackson, would be Jesse Pavelka.

FAVORITE QUOTE/SCENE
While the rain had cleaned most of the blood and dirt from his face, there was something the water hadn’t washed away. A savagery remained etched in the hard planes of his face. He was bruised and rugged. He was a warrior fresh from battle. He had never looked more handsome. My stomach fluttered.

“You were watching me sleep?” I smiled. “That’s kind of creepy and a little stalker-ish.”

As he leaned across the seat, his shoulders bunched. “Maybe I’m obsessed.”

I moistened my lower lip. His gaze traced the wet trail of my tongue.

“In a good way I hope,” I said.

“It isn’t too late for me to take you to your uncle’s.”

“Why would I go there?” I swiped my wet palms on my pants.

“If you come upstairs with me, I’m not going to be able to stop from touching you, from stripping you naked. You’re tired and hurt and I can’t promise to be gentle. The darkness.” He drew in a breath and corrected himself. “The demon wants you tied to my bed, wants you screaming and so drunk with pleasure you won’t be able to walk away from us. You’re ours. The man and the demon. We need to claim you.”

The man and the demon. His husky, sex-drugged voice brought my thighs together in anticipation. My pussy was slick and swollen. The scent of sex permeated the air.

“I don’t want to go to Roy’s.”

7 Untold Secrets Behind The Surrender Trilogy

                                                                  By Lydia Michaels

1.     The Symbolism of Scout

Scout’s character came to me first as only a word. She was heroine. I’d thought long and hard about books I’d read and the realism of the protagonists I loved.

Born on the streets of Folsom, to a parent who is a mother in word only, Scout is constrained by no rules, yet lives her life by a specific code of survival. She is a compilation of so many imperfect strengths female leads have conveyed in literature over the years.

Scout possesses the independent strength of Jane Eyre. She is the dignity hidden within Hester Prynne. Steeped in innocence regarding social hypocrisies, she is charmingly childlike in her belief that circumstances and people can change, much like Jean Louise Finch, better known as To Kill a Mockingbird’s “Scout”. But above all, Scout is seeking her way home, somewhere she has yet to truly define. She is Dorothy Gale’s sweetness, lost in a spectacular world that is not her own. Unintended, loyal, and determined, she is the strong wind that takes Lucian Patras unexpectedly by storm.

2.     A Look at Lucian

Lucian Patras appears to have everything, until he meets Evelyn “Scout” Keats. He is Folsom’s most celebrated bachelor, wealthy, sexy, a devil to face off against in business. But he’s also incredibly private when it comes to his personal life. As a man in his mid thirties, he’s quite aware his presence is sought after for personal gain, part of the reason he’s grown jaded with the world. He wants a companion to intellectually challenge him, someone capable of giving it to him straight. But nothing prepares him for the dose of reality he must swallow once his life becomes tangled up with Evelyn “Scout” Keats.

3.     Pieces of Pearl

Pearl, Scout’s mother, is a lost soul in carbon form. Her mind is a jigsaw, pieces of the past broken into jagged memories, distorted by drugs and abuse, but she is the only person Scout has ever loved. An anchor around her daughter’s neck, every time Scout rises from the bottomless depths of poverty, Pearl pulls her back under. In order for Scout to survive, she must save her mother first.

4.     The Challenge of Chess

Chess is a cerebral struggle over another’s ego. The central figure is the King. He is indispensible. Narcissism will only lead to a corrupt King. He must never forget—the Queen holds far more power.

Chess is a lyrical battle of the mind, provoked by patient acts of aggression. Lucian Patras is a master of chess, favoring the intellectual sparring over traditional sport. He savors seeing his opponents gracefully surrender, and refers to the game as a triumphant display of social intercourse.

Once you read The Surrender Trilogy, you will never look at chess the same way again.

5.     Playing with Pawns

Pawns are the players of the story, the characters of the board. There are the traditional pawns, those maneuvered to protect the King and Queen, and then there are the more cunning pawns. There are the voyeurs, better known as the rooks, the manipulators or bishops, and let us not overlook the slyest piece of all, the knight. Should the King underestimate the other players on the board—he will quickly find himself in check.

6.     Underestimating the Underdog

Parker Hughes is quiet, poor, and disinterested in the lavish treasures of the world. He covets only one thing, but she has suddenly changed the rules of the game. When Parker discovers Scout’s intentions involving billionaire Lucian Patras, he must embrace his shrewder side. He loved her first and thereby considers her his, but taking from a King is never easy, especially when the Queen holds all the power. Therefore, Parker puts his patience into practice and becomes the Dark Knight.

7.     The Cost of Surrender

Relinquishing control can be a difficult task. Throughout The Surrender Trilogy, one is never quite sure which character is making the greater sacrifice. Scout is asked to submit to the authority of a man she barely knows and hardly understands, yet through a turn of twisted events Lucian is faced with choices that inflame his desire to possess such a woman.

Surrender, in its purest form, is done gracefully, selflessly, and delivered of one’s free will. FALLING IN love is never as simple as it seems. The constricting sense of need can sometimes provoke the urge to escape, but BREAKING OUT is not always the answer. It takes a genuine understanding of surrender to grasp what it means to ultimately be COMING HOME.

COMING HOME, the conclusion of The Surrender Trilogy reaches readers January 21, 2014!
